About Me

My name is Rodney McConkey, but I prefer Rod.

I work as an Educational Assistant with Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.

I was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario.

I graduated from Fleming College with an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing.

I returned to Fleming College for a Diploma in Educational Support Worker.

I am working on my undergraduate presently.

In my free time, I like to read, mostly in the fantasy genre. I like to write stories and watch comic book movies.

During my early education, I was identified to have a learning disability. I worked with many Educational Support Workers throughout elementary and high school. I want to support students like I was supported. I want to make sure that they are supported and build up their skills and confidence so that they can work to their full potential.
